Every year the UNAM's Institute of Nuclear Science has a special event called "Open Day". As you know all the research institutions in the planet are not places where you can visit when you want, like... hey people! what's this? ohh cool laser!

But the "Open Day" is different, hundreds of students and public can enter to the Institute of Nuclear Science and participate in many interesting activities such as laboratory visits, workshops, games and conferences, all with real researchers.

Every year the event has a theme, in 2019 was easy task because that year was the periodic's table year, so the slogan was "There will be always chemistry between us" and all the activities were related to chemistry. My boss and her students gave me the images of the official event's poster and all the website's content (text and images) so I needed to create something for the public.

I developed this site in three days, I wanted something simple, not so many clicks and only the necesary information and responsive. Also I did something I wanted to do for a long time ago, an interactive periodic table.
