It Doesn't Have to Be Crazy at Work (2018)

Author: Jason Fried, David Heinemeier Hansson / Category: Business

A few lines are not enough to describe this masterpiece. In a direct and entertaining way the authors make us see that the endless meetings, the immediate responses, the availability of others' time, impossible deadlines, not sleeping and working more than 80 hours a week should not be normal situations or celebrable. And I am only mentioning a small number of the many situations that make a workplace crazy, in the book we will find many more and how to avoid them. If you want to improve your company, you really have to read this book, In my personal case this book convinced me: I want to work or create a calm company. Excellent book. - Goz

Rework (2010)

Author: Jason Fried, David Heinemeier Hansson / Category: Business

If you want to start your company or you already have a running business this book can be useful. Good ideas? Bad ideas? that's the point, you will be the judge. This book is not the classic business book and will change your view in many radically ways... or maybe not and you will hate the book. Some amazon's reviews call it the bussiness school antithesis and also a simplistic and arrogant book. But I like this book not because it's a recipe for success (such thing doesn't exist), I like it because it is written upon a reality, all the ideas in this book works for a real and successful company (37 Signals) and that is really interesting. Maybe some chapters are to crazy to apply in your businees but who knows maybe one day yo will be able adopt some ideas. DHH and Jason Fried really know their business. Excellent book. - Goz
